Are you considering building an email list, but have some doubts about why it is needed? Many online business owners do not realize the power of building an e-mail list when they are starting out.
One of the main reasons for building an e-mail list is because this is traffic that you control and own.
It is important that you build an email list because you want to build an audience and develop a relationship with them. If one of your goals is to make money online and make auto-pilot commissions is that you’re going to have to serve your audience by solving a problem.
The bigger your e-mail list, the more money you can potentially make. Provided that your audience is targeted and suits your niche.

E-mail is targeted
You own your e-mail list
E-mail is one on one
More people use e-mail several times a day
What is the averageE-mail subscriber value?
Email subscriber value is the most important metric for list building. It’s more important than your opt-in rate or your unsubscribe rate.
Why?
Because you aren’t doing this email marketing thing as a hobby. You’re doing it to make money.
Every list building tactic has a cost. Maybe it’s “only” a time cost, but that’s a cost, too.
Once you know how much an email subscriber is worth to you, then you’ll be far better informed about which list building tactics are worthwhile.
Each email subscriber is worth $ 1 per month (i.e you can make $ 10,000 a month from a list of 10,000 subscribers).
Take that figure with a grain of salt. Or maybe a pound.
Here’s what it would take to pull that $ 10,000 a month off.
Let’s first break it down by week.
You have to earn $ 2,500 from your list of 10,000 each week.
With an average click-through rate of 3.5% (per Active Campaign), you’d get 350 clicks coming to your landing page/product page.
With a 2% conversion rate (that’s average), you’ll get 7 orders. To make your $ 2,500 that week, you’d need to make $ 357.14 off of each order.
If you are seasoned vet, consider this: You get a 5% click-through rate, resulting in 500 clicks to the landing page. You get a 3% conversion rate, resulting in 15 orders. You still need to make $ 166.66 profit from each order to make your $ 2,500 goal.
The goal should be to aim for $ 1 per subscriber per month goal. Provided that you give value and massively serve your audience this is very do-able.

If you are to become a leader in network marketing then there is a rule that you must know.
This rule states: someone will ONLY follow someone else if they perceive that individual to be a higher-level leader than themselves.
If you perceive yourself to be a level 7 (on a scale from 1-10) leader…
Are you going to follow someone you perceive to be a level 5?
NO!
They have to catch up to you, not the other way around.
Now, pay attention to the part of the law that says “perceive”.
Someone will only follow someone else if they PERCEIVE that individual to be a higher-level leader than themselves.
It’s all perception.
There is no test you take that spits out a score.
You are a leader when you decide to become one. You are who you say you are until you prove otherwise.
It’s time to step up and become a leader in network marketing
Guys, it’s time to reach down and grab a pair.
Girls, it’s time to put on your big girl panties and step up.
You are worthy of people following you and people WANT to be lead.
We’ve been told what to do & lead our whole lives…
By our parents…
Our teachers…
Bosses…
The question is: Are you going to be the one who leads or are you going to be like everyone else and live a mediocre life by staying in the shadow of somebody else?

3-Step Strategy to go from the bottom 1% to the top 1% in network marketing.
When I first got started in network marketing I was nowhere near the top…
I was as bad as anyone could be when I first got started.
In fact, I was so bad that in the first two years I enrolled two people.
Those two people…
I PAID FOR THEM to join my downline.
Talk about pathetic, right?
I felt as if I was at the bottom 1% of all network marketers, however, I quickly realized that was not true.
If you’ve only enrolled one or two people…
Know this…
You are already in the top 30%+!
Why?
Most people get into network marketing and before they have any success, they quit!
If you’ve been in network marketing, even if you haven’t had a lot of success and you’ve been doing it for a year or two, be proud of yourself that you haven’t given up.
So the first strategy to get to the top 1% in network marketing:
Don’t be too hard on yourself.
If you’re too hard on yourself then you’ll quit and NEVER have the chance to become successful.
The road to reaching the top 1% in network marketing is easy if…
Listen, this business is a marathon, not a sprint.
Long term consistency will always trump short-term intensity.
Yes, there are times when you want to blitz.
What’s a blitz?
Take a 90-day time of your life, maybe even once a year…
Put your head down and run. Hard.
…but you can’t rely on short term intensity because this is a long-term game.
Be patient with your results but impatient with your activity.
I should put that on a bumper sticker…
So, the second strategy to reaching the top 1% in network marketing is…
CONSISTENCY!
Are you willing to stick it out long enough to become great?
If you played guitar every single day for 10-20 years would you be good?
No…
You’d be phenomenal!
What if you honed your skills, practiced selling, presenting, reaching out to people on social media, etc. every single day for a few years?
How great do you think you’d be?
As Malcolm Gladwell puts it in his book, Outliers, the most successful people in the world spend about 10,000 hours on their craft to be considered “World-Class” at what they do.
What do you think would happen if you spent 10,000 honing your skills?
Do you think you’d be in the top 1%?
Hell yeah, you would!
This brings me to my third strategy…
Adopt a healthy ego and belief system
Making a million dollars is EASY!
The hard thing?
Believing that it’s possible for you.
Once you begin to value your own self-worth, develop extreme confidence, and adopt a belief that anything is possible for you…
That’s when you realize that you have what it takes to get into the top 1%.
So, my third strategy to reach the top 1% in network marketing…
Have an unwavering belief system
Believe that you have what it takes…
Develop a routine of consistent personal development with consistent daily action…
…and understand that you are where you are right now and that’s okay.
Why?
Because you now know what it takes to make sh*t happen!

The real question is, can I make a real income online? This is what we’re about to find out.
Before I do, allow me to share a story with you. Back in 2001, I discovered an industry called network marketing.
Network marketing is a business opportunity where you join a company and promote their products. All while recruiting others to join your team to do the same. This is called leverage and residual income. That was my first exposure to entrepreneurship.
When I first discovered network marketing, I didn’t know that it was a business. So I thought it was something you can go in, start to make any money right away.
But that was not the case for me. I struggled and failed miserably. Starting off what was pretty at all. After dabbling in the industry for a few years, I eventually found success.
Fast forward to 2005, I got involved in the real estate market and did pretty well in it. As you may know, or as you can recall, back in 2007-2008, is when the recession hit, everything crashed.
That was a pivotal time in my life. It made me realize that I had to create my own economy. Create your own economy, you will create your own income and not rely on anyone.
So I started to look into other types of businesses. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do. I started noticing that a lot of businesses, especially the brick and mortar businesses, started to close down, stores like Mervyn, JC Penney’s, Toys R Us. Stores were starting to close due to the emergence of Amazon.
Amazon has taken over the retail space in terms of making shopping convenient for people. Where people can go online, search for what they want to buy and buy with a click of a button.
They created a microwave society where people get what they want almost on demand.
I started to notice, with the emergence of Netflix, in the beginning, before they started the streaming services. They were renting movies through regular snail mail. Where you can go online, and you should check out the titles that you want and Netflix would then send you the DVDs through the mail.
What was smart about Netflix was that they knew that technology was the future. They decided to go away from shipping out DVDs, then take the movies that they have and put it into a database where people could watch movies on demand. It was so smart and innovative that Blockbuster movie wrote it off and thought it was a fad.
The key here is people want things on demand. People want things to happen right now. When I realized that when online businesses started to emerge, I had to take inventory of what’s happening in the marketplace. Shortly after, I got involved, I started doing internet marketing, I started doing affiliate marketing. What I can tell you, it changed my life. I’ve been able to spend less time working and also make a nice income from doing so.

There is a big difference between getting a new rep started fast in network marketing and getting a new rep duplicating fast in network marketing. If you’re a great salesman… You may not be so great at the latter.
When I first started, I thought getting a new rep in network marketing meant I had to become a good salesman.
With this mentality, I thought I was going to CRUSH it!
I read a bunch of books on sales…
Had a few sales jobs…
Sold door-to-door…
Worked in a phone room making sales calls…
This network marketing thing was going to be a walk in the park!
Can you guess what happened?
I was WRONG!
It took me five years to get to a full-time income.
I was great at closing but couldn’t get my new representative to duplicate!
Realized that top salespeople don’t always make the best network marketers.
Why?
Here’s what happened in my case:
I would enroll someone, close them, then celebrate and move on to the next one!
Thinking back, it’s actually kind of funny.
The big money in network marketing comes from duplication…
From building leadership and training.
Here’s a quick tip:
When getting a new rep started fast in network marketing… DON’T celebrate
Not yet at least…
Let me explain:
I owned my own network marketing company for a handful of years.
We hired the number one firm on retention to educate us on how to keep our representatives.
Through the education process, they laid some stats on me.
The greatest attrition comes in the first 60 to 90 days.
That means people are most likely to quit in the very beginning – within’ the first few months.
So, in my opinion, you shouldn’t be celebrating unless that person you just recruited…
Recruits somebody else.
If we know that people are most likely to quit at the beginning…
The number one thing you can do to get someone to stay with you long term…
Is to get some success under their belt and get them in motion.
There is literally a law in physics that states: An object in motion tends to stay in motion. An object at rest tends to stay at rest.
If you don’t get people into action quickly, they’re very likely to never get into action at all and never duplicate.
So, how do you get them duplicating quickly?
Here you go…
2 tips for getting a new rep started quickly in network marketing
Here’s the reality:
Leaders lead.
People are used to be told what to do & almost WANT to be told what to do (whether they realize it or not).
When we’re growing up, our parents tell us what to do. When going to school, our teachers tell us and when getting a job, our bosses tell us what to do.
People are used to being led.
Alright, now that we’ve got that settled…
Here’s the first tip for getting a rep started fast in network marketing:
Give them a quota & clear the date!
Yes! Give them something to do.
Give them a sales quota to hit or an event to attend.
Invite them to an event…
…but do it tactfully by clearing the date.
What does that mean?
It looks like this:
You: “Hey Bill, what are you doing Saturday afternoon?” Notice I didn’t ask if he wanted to go to an event on Saturday afternoon… Bill would most likely come up with an excuse not to go.
Bill: “Nothing. I’m free.”
You: “Awesome! Let’s get you off to a fast start and attend the training event this weekend” You’re much more likely to get a “yes” if that person already committed to telling you he/she didn’t have any plans.
Want another example? Of course you do…
You: “What are you doing tomorrow for lunch?”
New Rep: “Nothing”
You: “Great! We’re gonna get your business launched tomorrow. What I want you to do is have at least two people come to lunch. Now, I’m going to come and I’ll actually show the business for you. You invite and I’m going to show you how this works.
This is called job training.
When you just enroll someone and tell them, “go get them tiger!” people are very unlikely to actually ‘go get them’.
They need some leadership so I’d say something like:
“Well, I want you to have at least two people. Now, you probably need to have three or four say they’re coming. I would recommend you have about four who say they can come to lunch because people have things come up. They have to work late or something random happens. Once you’ve invited them and confirmed lunch, you can let them know, that you’ve got an idea that you’re working on and you’re excited about sharing it with them. That way they know they’re going to see something and then when I’m there, I’m obviously your business partner with the idea. And so I’m going to go through and do everything.”
See how much more effective that would be than to just tell them to ‘go get em’ and go watch the company trainings?
You want them training, sure…
…but you want them to take action more than anything.
Ignorance on fire is much better than knowledge on ice.
Alright, here’s one more quick tip to get a new rep started fast in network marketing:
Have them set a goal!
People are more likely to go do something if they have a goal.
This might look something like this:
You: “Is this something you’re pretty serious about?”
Bob: “Yes”
You: “Great! Would you like to make all your money back next week?”
Bob: “Yes!”
You: “Are you willing to follow my coaching to make that a reality?”
Bob: “Yes!”
You: “Great! What I want to do right now is write down your top 10 people that you know best. Let’s send them a text right now & get some appointments set.”
This gets them to make a commitment to you.
If they don’t do it…
They’ve gone back against something they already committed to.
These strategies have been instrumental in my growth…
So, go take massive action and get some new reps duplicating quickly within’ your organization!

High-ticket product sales are one of my favorite ways to earn a passive income. ls because there are so many opportunities to grow actual passive income. The exciting part is how much you can earn as an affiliate marketer.
The most important factor in your success as an affiliate is what kind of products you promote.
You can put in less effort, less time and make a lot more money.
Let me break it down as an example.
The reason why I like the high ticket is that you can sell one item at $ 1,000 instead of 1,000 items at $ 1.
So what one would you focus your energy on?
Would you focus the same amount of energy on one item for $ 1,000?
Would you rather focus more energy on trying to sell 1000 products at $ 1?
That is the difference between a high ticket and a low ticket.
The common myth that most marketers think that because the price of the high ticket is a lot more, it means that the customer will not buy the product.
Let me break it down to you and I’ll explain why that is. When it comes to high ticket, the three things that you have to know about high ticket:
1) It has a strong back end and you attract quality customers.
What does quality mean? It means quality customers. No tire kickers, or time wasters.
This process allows you to filter out the people who are not serious about your product. The business model allows you to focus on higher-quality customers. These are those who have skin in the game, and that is worth your time.
2) Raises the asset value.
When you take a potential customer through a funnel and you take them through a process. When you’re selling a high ticket item, it requires a low barrier price item to get the prospect through the door. As they go through the process, there is an opportunity to sell them on a high priced item.
The idea here is to provide as much value as you can upfront. At the same time focus on getting as much traffic as you can to your offers. The traffic can be a form of Facebook, Instagram or YouTube. This applies to both the organic and also the paid. How you get customers through the door is by getting them to opt-in for a lead magnet or buy a course under $ 100.
A low ticket item can be anything under $ 100. So when you take them to your low barrier offer, now they become a customer, so now this is where it gets really fun.
Now, that you’ve already delivered your product or a lead magnet. The next step is you start to provide value since they are now on your email list. So you want to start providing value. This is part of the nurturing process.
Here are some high ticket items that you can offer:
Inner circle mastermind – where there is a course you purchase then have a mastermind in a Facebook group
One on One coaching – can be coaching for 4, 8 or 12 weeks
Group coaching – where you meet with the group once a week on a zoom call
Weekend masterminds, or seminars – Rent a mansion in Las Vegas
The nurturing process is so important because when you drive in traffic, you take your customer through a process of them getting to know you through your daily e-mails.
This creates the know, like and trust factor.
Once you have established this, you can now start the upsell process.
In this video, I am going to show you how you can leverage yourself and take high ticket affiliate marketing to another level.
Producing content is going to be your way of generating leads and making sales.
Remember, that you’re not here to sell. The money you earn is in direct proportion of how many people you can help. This is how your influence and relationships will grow. When you grow these two factors, your business will flourish.
You can produce your content on Facebook or YouTube.
At the end of your content, you will want to add a ‘call to action’. This is also known as CTA. You’re getting the avatar to take action on a recommendation (more on this in the video below).
You want to do this every single day and this is how you build your business from scratch.
This is secret of the high-income earners. This is how they make their money.
