Master Your Mindset

Master Your Mindset

As I coach and mentor some of the top earners in the Network Marketing profession, guess what the number one thing is that’s holding them back from their potential? It’s not the skills! They know how to get customers. They know how to recruit somebody. They know how to get them started.

But there’s a lid preventing them from reaching their potential.

There’s a cap that blocks their growth, and it has to do with that thing between their ears that causes them to play small. It causes them to sabotage their businesses and hide when they should be showing their light to the world. It causes them to do all kinds of things that are not serving them.

Make sure your mindset is serving you!

Here’s the thing. You’ve got access to everything you need to have massive impact on your results. This tool is the internal programming that can hardwire you for success – but you may need to rewrite some bad programming.

This programming starts before we even learn to speak. Our parents set boundaries and consequences for us. When we start school we enter a similar structure. By the time we graduate, we’ve been programmed to do as we’re told. Follow the rules. Just fit in. Do what normal people do.

Is there something in you that’s putting a lid on your potential?

Richard Feynman quote graphic

The first thing you need to do if you want to fix any negative programming is isolate the things that are holding you back. Maybe you’ve have been told (directly or indirectly) that because of your gender, heritage, life experiences, or whatever else that there’s really not much that’s expected of you.

Please understand that you do not have to accept this. Not for a single moment. I remember reading a quote from physicist Richard Feynman that I really loved. He said, “You have no responsibility to live up to what other people think you ought to accomplish.”

Now, he actually came to this conclusion as a result of people having these huge expectations of him following a lot of success he achieved. But it’s a powerful statement to me because it just underscores the fact that other people’s beliefs don’t have to influence your accomplishments. You don’t have to let the expectations that other people set for you limit your success.

You are under no obligation to live the life that someone else expects of you.

Once you’ve isolated the negative patterns of behavior that result from bad programming, what do you do? Rewrite it! Decide that you won’t allow past outcomes to limit future behavior. Decide that you will be the one to determine what you will accomplish and the success you will achieve. Decide – and then make it happen.

Start out by asking yourself where you could go if you thought more of yourself. Where could you go if you stepped into your true potential? Most of you have been living at a tiny fraction of your potential, and you know it and this disconnect in your heart has been bothering you for a long time.

I understand that pain – I’ve been through it. What we DO inside of Network Marketing pro is help you close that gap between where you are and where your potential is.

Learn to think differently!

You’re going to need to undergo a complete rewiring in your brain. You already have the power. You already have the capability. You already have the capacity. It’s just about stepping into it.

Here’s an example of how this goes. I travel all over the world to train people, and I’ve noticed something interesting about the word “work.” When you hear that word what comes to mind? Hard, pain, obligation, drudgery, TGIF, something to get away from, tiring…many of you have been programmed to see “work” this way. That’s an “employee” mindset, and it’s something you want to get away from!

Entrepreneurs don’t think of “work” that way! For us, work is passion, legacy, building something, improving lives, creating something. So here’s the tricky thing…a lot of people come into entrepreneurship with an employee mindset. They’re excited that no one’s telling them what to do and that there are no consequences if they take a ton of time off. So that’s what they do!

Mindset Blog Quote Graphic

Change your thoughts and actions.

It may take some concerted effort at first, but start shifting the way you think. If you catch yourself thinking something that shows signs of bad programming, overwrite it right then and there. Take action steps that back it up.

So if you’re dreading some of your business related tasks, reframe them from an entrepreneur mindset. It’s not a boring thing you’re dreading, no – it’s a challenge that you’re going to crush! By smashing this task, you’re going to be one step closer to improving your life and the lives of all those around you!

Next, help your team to do the same! When they’re exhibiting signs of bad programming, call them out on it. Talk them through how to improve their mindset. Every one of you has the ability to transform your business and your life. You have exactly what you need – and it’s right there between your ears.

7 Words For Network Marketing Success

7 Words For Network Marketing Success

7 Words For Network Marketing Success

What if I told you that you could transform your network marketing business with just 7 words? Would you call BS? Try it out for yourself. These are the 7 words for network marketing success.

The 7 words for network marketing success that you’ll want to implement into your business IMMEDIATELY

First off, Disclaimer!

This is something I learned from my good friend, Lisa Grossman.

She trained at an event I attended and found it SO impactful…

I HAD to write a blog post about it.

Ready for the 7 words?

Here we go:

I…

Will…

Help…

You…

Build…

Your…

Business…

I will help you build your business

During every sales process, there are 3 main things that people want to know before making their decision.

Does it work?

Can I do it?

Will you help me?

If you’re a good networker, you want to let people know that you’ll help them.

Seems simple enough, right?

Let me tell you what you DON’T want…

Don’t let the 7 words for network marketing success be your downfall…

What do I mean by that?

We don’t want a situation where people think that you’re going to build their business FOR them.

When enrolling a new customer…

Understand that you are their coach…

Not their nanny or the person building anything for them.

You don’t want to establish a welfare mentality.

When enrolling someone…

Establish expectations from the start…

Expectations that you are going to support them in building their company, but they need to be the ones building it and cannot rely on you for everything.

Here’s the perfect analogy

You’ve got a horse and you’ve got the jocky.

The jockey’s job in the race is to steer the horse…

To guide the horse.

The jocky is NOT the one who runs because that’s the horse’s job.

So, it’s your prospect’s job to call people, bring them to you, show them the business, and collect decisions.

It’s your job to steer the horse to the finish line; to guide your prospect down the path of success.

During a race, if the horse stops mid-race…

Does the Jocky pick up the horse and run him through the finish line?

Of course not!

So, don’t pick your prospect up and build the business for them.

As a leader…

A mentor…

And a coach…

You will help your new rep build their business by helping to enroll a new person and teaching them strategies for success…

Their job is to build the business.

Closing Prospects with the Right Six Questions

Closing Prospects with the Right Six Questions

By Eric Worre

We’ve all been there, myself included. Picture the scenario. You’ve sat down with your prospect, shared your story, and presented your opportunity, and then the big question popped in your head:

How am I going to close and get the prospect to sign up?

It’s a struggle everyone has had regardless of how long they’ve been in Network Marketing.

I have a simple closing methodology that works in every company and country, with every age group and gender.  And it consists of only 6 questions.

Closing with a smile#1 What Did You Like Best?

At the end of every exposure, the worst question you could ask is “What did you think?”  Asking what your prospect thinks invites the critic.  They begin to think of how they could critique your presentation, and they come up with negative thoughts.

Instead, if you ask “What did you like best?”, you’ll get completely different answers.  This question invites positive thoughts.  In fact, their answers will give you clues as to their level of interest.  If they really liked the product, that’ll guide you in a particular direction as you go forward.  Or if they like the residual income, flexibility, or the people, then you’ll know to focus on those things.

#2 On a Scale of 1 to 10…?

Ask your prospects, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being “Not at All” and 10 being “Ready to Go,” how interested are you right now in this opportunity?

Again, this will help you gauge their level of interest, and how much more help they might need to make a decision.  You will get a lot of 6s, 7s, and 8s.  And that’s great.  But what if someone says 2?  That’s still not bad!  You will have a lot of work to build them up to a higher number, but a 2 still indicates that they have some level of interest.  They might just need more than one exposure to get them ready.  Just ask them, what can I do to help you get to a higher number?  Their answer will help you identify what’s the best follow-up you can use to set up the next exposure.  Remember, anything over a 1 is good.

#3 How Much Money?

Now we start asking hypothetical questions.  Based on what you’ve just seen, if you were to get started with this company on a part-time basis, approximately how much would you need to earn per month in order to make this worth your time?

You just ask them what level of income would be interesting for them.  Don’t tell them what they could make.  Listen to find out what they would want, what their dream would be.

#4 How Many Hours?

Approximately how many hours could you commit each week to develop that kind of income?

Again, you are listening to see what they would be willing to do, not what you would suggest.

#5 How Many Months?

How many months would you work those kinds of hours in order to develop that kind of income?

Find out how much time they’re willing to invest to get to the level they want to reach.

#6 If I, Would You?

If I could show you how to develop an income of (their answer to #3) per month, working (their answer to #4) hours a week over the course of (their answer to #5) months, would you be ready to get started?

All you are doing is asking them what their dream is and then if you could give them their dream, would they take it?  Most people will respond positively.  I mean, who wouldn’t want to reach their dreams?

Closing with Confidence

Act as Consultant

Now, sometimes you’ll get some crazy answers from these questions.  Someone might say they’d want to make $ 20,000 a month, working only 5 hours a week, and they’ll give you 2 months to accomplish that.

You have to remember that you are acting as a consultant for your prospects.  And as a consultant, you’ll have to be realistic with them.  You’ll have to tell them that if that is what they really want, then one of those three numbers will have to move.  It will either take more hours a week, more months, or less money.  But something will have to change.

Don’t be afraid to do this.  You will gain credibility if you are honest and realistic with your prospects.

Closing With Confidence

With this closing methodology, you will get more

prospects to sign up because you are listening to what they want.  Don’t tell your prospects what to expect with Network Marketing.  You may be pitching that they can earn $ 10000 a month, when all they want is $ 1,000 to help them put one kid through college or pay off a credit card debt.  The most successful people in Network Marketing listen to what their prospects actually want, and then show them how those dreams can be fulfilled.

Use this closing, and your confidence will improve.  Don’t worry about memorizing these exact words, just learn the general concept.  Use this closing, and you will take one more step closer to being a Network Marketing professional!

You have the prospect, you have the questions, and you have the confidence. It is all the necessary pieces to the puzzle of success. Connie Marie McDanel recently spoke at the Most Powerful Women in Network Marketing event. Her focus aligned exactly with everything we discussed. You have all the pieces needed to close now you need to CONNECT THE CONVERSATION! Putting the prospect, questions and confidence into one successful package will take you to the next level. I’ve a short little video below highlighting some of Connie’s points. It’s just a small tidbit out of everything we discussed at the Most Powerful Women in Network Marketing event. The Easiest Way To Make A Passive Income Online

The Easiest Way To Make A Passive Income Online

As the internet evolves so will the industry of online marketing. With the influx of information out there, it can be confusing yet frustrating to try and figure this out. Especially if you are brand new.

Here are my easiest ways to make a passive income online.

1) Do not do everything at once

This is a big one.

Which is why I mentioned it first.

Chances are, you may be doing endless research on Google and YouTube on how to get started.

There are so many different ways to make money online. Pick one that you feel suits you and run with it. It’s important that you pick one that you are passionate about. One that you feel you can carry out long term. If you are not passionate about the topic, you will not survive long enough to see a profit.

2) Focus on one offer

As you may have seen, there are thousands of offers to choose from.

If you see someone succeeding in a particular niche, it doesn’t mean that you will succeed too. This is why it’s important that you select one that you are passionate about. This is the key to your survival in that niche.

When you are serving your audience, you shouldn’t focus on the money. Focus on how you can help them. Money is a ‘by-product’ of how many people you can help.

Focus on one offer, help those people, and you’ll get paid over and over.

Rise Of The Digital Nomad Nate Leung4

3) Focus on driving traffic

You can use any platform. It doesn’t matter if you have a website, a Facebook page, or a YouTube channel.

There are two methods of driving traffic.

✔ Free – This is an organic approach where you create and produce content.

✔ Paid – You pay a fee to a platform like Facebook. Facebook will display your ad in front of the audience that you wish to target.

This sounds great, doesn’t it? But what if you don’t have any money?

This is where you need to learn how to be ‘resourceful’.

Here are some ideas:

✔ Pick up a part-time job.

✔ Sell your items on eBay.

✔ Start a dog walking service.

✔ Babysit your neighbor’s kid.

✔ Take out a loan or obtain a credit card.

The opportunities are endless – You have to figure out what works within yourself and use that to your advantage. There should be no excuse to why you cannot make money or get started.

If you keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result, nothing will change. You have to change something in your life to get what you want.

This is the reason why people are stuck in their lives.

Inside this video, I explain more in detail on the easiest ways to make a passive income online.

Double Your Rate Of Success In Network Marketing

Double Your Rate Of Success In Network Marketing

Double your rate of success in network marketing

The most counterintuitive approach to double your rate of success in network marketing that you’ve ever heard…

Most people believe that top-earners come out of the gate knowing how to increase their rate of success in network marketing, don’t face challenges, or don’t face failures

I’m here to tell you…

That’s NOT true.

I still have people not call me back…

Not show up for presentations…

And straight up walk out of my presentations.

Let me share a quick story:

A few years ago I flew down to Houston, Texas to do a launch event for a new couple that was getting started in the business.

They had already done a launch event and it was HUGE!

A lot of people had come to the first event so I agreed to come to the second event.

I walk into their studio (where they’re doing the launch event) and it looked great!

We had rows of chairs all lined up, the stage was set, it was perfect…

…except for one thing.

THEY WEREN’T THERE YET!

Finally, the couple shows up a little late and it’s getting time to start the presentation…

…but there are no guests yet.

The couple that I had flown to Houston for either didn’t invite ANYONE or nobody they invited showed up.

I began my presentation anyway when a couple of people showed up.

Here comes the worst part…

The couple I flew down for LEFT about a third of the way through the presentation.

They walked out of their own meeting!

I laughed it off, had a great time on stage, and signed up the people who did stay for the whole presentation.

Not the results I was looking for, but we made the best out of it.

Chances are, if you’re in network marketing, the top leaders in your company are going through the same things you’re going through.

They get rejected…

Get told “no”…

Have people walk out of their presentations…

Get stood up…

Everything you can think of.

The key is this: Just do more of it!

My rate of success in network marketing increased dramatically when I decided…

I was going to detach myself from the results and I was just going to focus on the process.

The process, I decided, was going to be a lot of fun (which made me want to do it more)…

When you approach things from this perspective…

It’s easier to go all in and take massive action (without caring about what the results were going to be).

Yes, I wanted to make money, create results and enroll people…

…but I stopped focusing on that and focused on the process.

If you want to double your rate of success, then double your rate of failure

Go double, triple, and quadruple your rate of failure.

Get more no shows!

Be excited when people reject you.

Obviously, get better! I’m not saying screw up on purpose, but work on your skill and get better.

The more you fail, the more you’re going to have success.

Tom Watson, the founder of IBM, said, “If you want to greatly increase your success, double your rate of failure.”

So my friends, go fail.

Fail fast.

And increase your success.

How To Exceed Your Goals

How To Exceed Your Goals

By Eric Worre

Unlimited PotentialIf you are reading this then I am sure you set goals. Whether it’s a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly goal, what happens when you pass the finish line? Do you stop? Do you sit back and relax?

The answer better be NO!  I have something I need you to read closely. Don’t be satisfied with simply reaching your goals.  Exceed it!

Your thinking is too small.

That is a problem with society.  It puts limitations on people.  Oh, she can’t do that and raise her three kids by herself.  Oh, he won’t ever reach manager because he doesn’t have a college degree.  And on and on.  We get trained from an early age that there is a certain standard we must accept for our lives. We are told to set goals and that’s it. CHANGE THE MINDSET!

The great thing about Network Marketing is that there are no limitations.  It doesn’t matter what your background is, whether you are part-time or full-time, or if you are single or married.  Anyone can succeed in this profession as long as they put in the effort.  Anyone can reach any dream they dream.

So, why would you accept the standard of what other people expect of you?  Exceed everyone’s expectations.  You have unlimited potential.  Use it!  All you have to do is think bigger!

Think Bigger

Think bigger.  If you have a goal of recruiting 5 people in a week, make it 10.  If you were planning on bringing 15 people to the next event, bring 30.  Maybe you’ve earned enough income to pay off your house.  Now, see if you can make enough to send your child to college.

Think bigger.  What percentage of your potential are you operating at right now?  50%?  74%?  Maybe only 40%?  What do you think would happen if you cranked up your effort just 5 or 10%?  You’ll see growth, that’s what!

Think bigger.  You’ll see more growth, more development, more success when you push past the limitations society places on you.  Don’t settle.  You have the power to go to unbelievable heights.

So, dream bigger dreams.  Set higher goals.  Go further than anyone thought possible.

Exceeding your goals can be easier if you surround yourself with like-minded entrepreneurs who have the same drive and determination as you. Luckily for you, I have created the fastest growing Network Marketing group on Facebook: Straight Talk with Eric Worre. It’s a free group where you will receive training, tips, tricks, motivation, lessons and engage with others just like you.  Join it today and invite your team members and friends!

How To Set The Right Mindset For Paid Traffic

So why paid traffic? This has been a hot topic of late. I’m going to give you several reasons why you should add paid traffic to your marketing campaigns. I’m also going to share with you the mindset behind winning these paid traffic campaigns.

Paid traffic is faster than content marketing

You can get traffic at will. Anytime you need to run traffic to an offer, you can pretty much get it on demand. The challenge with content marketing is that it may take a couple of days for it to get index. When you run a paid traffic campaign, you can get traffic instantly.

With paid traffic, you can measure your data. Here’s what I mean by measuring your data. When a paid traffic campaign is running, you are able to see the numbers and see what people are taking action with. That includes analyzing landing pages that work and don’t. This way, you can tweak and also move in the direction that’s going to help you get those winning campaigns.

Digital Genius Lab DGL GAZ Scam Review Make Money Online Enagic Affiliate Marketing

You’re also able to split test and also track your data. With organic traffic, such as SEO, you can’t track your data as you were with paid traffic. That’s what makes it challenging sometimes because SEO is not very targeted. It’s very wide open. What I like about paid traffic is that you can target a specific demographic. You can show your ads to a specific demographic, that you want to see your ad. With SEO, since it’s wide open, anyone can see it. Sometimes if the people don’t fit your demographic, they will see it as well.

Paid traffic is predictable. When you’re finally getting your numbers, you can use your data and predict what you want to do next. You can scale your ads or you can use the data to make tweaks to your marketing.

How you know if you have a campaign that works is that when you invest $ 1 into paid ads, you get back $ 2. When you get to this part right here, is when you starting to make a lot of money. This will work for you because you’ve done your homework. You’ve done the legwork, and you’ve researched your data. You know exactly what the traffic is going to do, and also respond to your campaigns.

The mindset behind paid traffic

Number one mindset shift that you need to know is going to be spending money, versus buying data. A lot of people who are going into this internet marketing space brand new think that they’re wasting money if they don’t make money in return.
The proper mindset to have is that you’re buying data. There’s always going to be a benefit in return when you’re buying data.

Don’t think that because you spend $ 100, $ 200, $ 300 and so on, on paid traffic and you don’t make it in sales, that you’re wasting money. Look at it as a mindset shift that you are buying data.

palm treeReady To Live The Life Of Your Dreams? You need to check this out before it’s too late

You want to know how the market is responding to your marketing campaigns. This is a big mindset shift because this is data belongs to you. No one else can use this data because you know how the market is responding to your paid advertising.

Data is king.

Don’t get emotional over not making sales. Instead, get emotional over the data that you’re going to get. I get excited because I want to know a certain demographic is going to respond to my marketing campaigns. Making sales is nice, don’t get me wrong. But if you focus more on the data, the money will follow.

If you’re starting off at $ 5 a day and you’re starting to get results, slowly scale up your ad spend. 100 to 200, upwards of 1000 and even beyond that. So this part right here, data is king, just remember that. That is the number one thing as far as knowing bind the data and knowing that data is king.

In this video, I explain more about why Paid traffic should be part of your arsenal when it comes to building your online business.

The Four Concepts of Follow-Up

The Four Concepts of Follow-Up

By Eric Worre

Follow-Up is a concept sometimes forgotten in the whole recruitment process. Many people make the mistake of believing the purpose of the first meeting with a prospect is to get them to sign up.

Wrong!

It’s something I’ve seen many times, especially in the early stages for people. Network Marketers often make the mistake of thinking that they have to sign up a prospect at the end of the first meeting. But 9 times out of 10, a prospect won’t sign up after just one exposure. It takes time to educate prospects so that they fully understand the opportunity. And that is why the follow-up is so important. It’s critical to the success of any entrepreneur and something I’ve covered in past videos like the one here. Today, I want to expand on that with a little something I call:

The Four Concepts of Follow-Up

You can have an endless list of prospects and give the best presentations, but if you don’t follow-up with your prospects, you won’t sign anyone up. You have to keep the relationship and the conversation going. Only then will you be able to help your prospects come to a decision.

So, here are 4 tips for following up:

4 concepts for the follow-up#1 Do What You Said You Would

At the end of your first meeting with the prospect, you should have set up a specific time to get back in contact with them, whether it was a phone call or another meeting. So, if you said you’d call them at a certain time, call them. If you said you’d meet them somewhere, go meet them. If you said you’d set up a three-way call with another leader, make sure you have it set up.

This is just a professional courtesy. When you say you’re going to do something, do it. Your prospects will respect you more if you do.

#2 Set Up Exposure After Exposure

Following up is really just another exposure, and exposures are what help prospects make their decision. The more exposures, the more you are helping them reach that decision. So, when you follow-up, it is essential that you set up the next exposure.

My business took a huge turn for the better when I changed my mindset from “getting” the prospect on the first exposure to just keeping the process going by setting up the next follow-up exposure, then the next and the next, until the prospect comes to a decision.

Remember, your job is to educate your prospects about your opportunity and help them come to a decision. Most often, that will require multiple exposures, and so you need to always set up the next exposure. Otherwise, you run the risk of never getting back with that prospect and having that opportunity drop away.

#3 It Will Take Multiple Exposures

Again, it will most likely take several exposures before a prospect comes to a decision. In fact, it can take an average of 4 to 6 exposures for the average prospect to join. So, following up is not just something you will do once with each prospect.

Be patient as you meet with your prospect several times to talk about your opportunity. Everyone is different, and so they come to decisions at different rates. Don’t get discouraged when it takes one prospect longer to understand your opportunity than another.

Be Their Friend - follow-upJust keep holding exposure after exposure. Keep talking with them about your product and opportunity. Talk about why you decided to join. Tell stories of lives that have been changed. Answer their questions about compensation plans, the company, the product, and anything else. Address their objections and concerns. But most importantly, foster the relationship with them.

Don’t just treat your prospects as someone to get into your business. Treat them as a friend. Ask them about their family and lives. Get to know them. All of your interactions with your prospects don’t have to be exposures where you talk about the opportunity. Invite them over for dinner or get your families together for a day at the amusement park. Be their friend, and they will respect you and listen about your opportunity more.

#4 Condense Time Between Exposures

While it will take time for your prospects to make a decision, too much time between exposures can actually do more damage than good. Life has a way of being distracting. If a month passes between exposures, more than likely your prospect hasn’t been thinking about your opportunity. They may have even forgotten a lot of what you talked about. Each exposure becomes like the first one then.

So, set up the exposures close together. Have a meeting, three-way call, and show them a video all in a week or two. Use whatever combination of exposures your company uses. But do them quickly. This will keep your opportunity on your prospect’s mind, and they will have a chance to really think about it.

Follow-Up is just one of the many skills needed to be successful. These four concepts are just the tip of the iceberg. There’s so much more out that to learn in regards to perfecting your craft. Putting yourself around others who have been or are currently in your shoes can only help you perfect it. Luckily for you, I have created the fastest growing Network Marketing group on Facebook: Straight Talk with Eric Worre. It’s a free group where you will receive training, tips, tricks, motivation, lessons and engage with others just like you. How to Present your Network Marketing Business

How to Present your Network Marketing Business

Someone asked, “Hey Matt, what’s your favorite way to present your network marketing business? A live presentation or a video presentation?” I’m going to give you my favorite!

My favorite way to present my network marketing business

If I’m presenting to a big group, I usually go through a  full PowerPoint presentation making sure it’s very detailed.

I want to be able to interact with the audience, tell some jokes and create a good rapport, however, if I’m in a one-on-one meeting or with a  handful of people in an in-home presentation, I prefer video.

Why?

The DUPLICATION factor.

When you present your network marketing business…

You want to answer the number one question people have in their minds.

If you don’t answer this question they WILL NOT join.

“Can I do it? Can I Be successful?”

See, you can have the best product in the world but none of that really matters if they don’t believe they can actually be successful in promoting your network marketing business.

On the flip side…

If they really believe that you can make a lot of money or that they can be successful through following your system then they will almost always lock arms with you.

Now, I’m going to give you my 3-step closing formula when presenting your network marketing business through video.

Ready?

The 3-step formula to close someone when presenting your network marketing business

For the sake of the lesson, let’s say I’m talking to John.

Me: “John, I want you to pay attention to how little I have to do to explain this to you.”

Then I OVEREMPHASIZE pressing play on the video (signifying how easy it is to “explain the business to him”).

Once the video is complete I’ll say something like:

Me: “Awesome, right? What did you like best?”
*Wait for their response…

“Awesome! You know what? I couldn’t agree more. Now, I do have to ask you a question to see if you qualify to be successful with this.”

Now, this is counterintuitive.

What most people expect is for you to start selling them right away on your business but when you ask a question like that…

All of a sudden you’ve got posture, seem to not have much emotional attachment if they join or not and you’re qualifying your prospect.

Then you’re going to say something like:

Me: “Do you think you have the ability to push play on a video like I just did with you?”

What do you think they say every single time?

Yes!

So, step 3: Congratulate them!

Me“Congratulations! You qualify. Welcome to the team!”

Put your hand out (signifying the deal has been made)…

…and get them plugged in and let them know that you’re going to show them exactly how to make all their money back in the next few days.

Boom!

How To Build An Engaged Personal Brand Online In 2020

How To Build An Engaged Personal Brand Online In 2020

The reason why you want to build a brand online is you want to stick out from the crowd.

You want the attention and the traffic on your offer.

What’s important here is that you don’t want to get lost in the crowd.

So, how do you do this?

You do this by creating trust

This is what I call the know, like and trust factor. You do this by creating content and providing value on a regular basis.

You want to be the authority and the expert in your industry or niche. By doing this, you are solving a problem for your audience. A problem that is keeping them up at night where they don’t know where else to look.

Create value by creating content

You create value by creating content on your social media platforms. Such as your blog, YouTube channel, and other social media websites you use. on your website, on your blog, on your YouTube channel.

The goal is that you want to build an e-mail list. An e-mail list is a collection of people in your niche that are looking to get their questions answered. This strategy is free traffic that you own and control.

You’re going to have an ocean of people that are going to be landing on your content. What you want to do is you only want to have to select a few who you’re offering.

This is a filtering process that will take them through from point A to point B. Hence, leading them to the end goal.

Facebook

You want to use an automated messenger bot. They will subscribe to your daily messages.

What’s great about Facebook and using a messaging bot is that it gets a ton of open rates.

Why open rates are important?

Because it means that the person subscribed to your bot or your list is very engaged. The key here is to engage as much as possible. These are the types of people that are more than likely to buy from you.

The open rate for messenger is as high as 80%. That means that the people in your audience are opening up Facebook every single day.

On Facebook, there are 2 billion people and there are 1.2 billion active daily users.

Instagram

What you want to do is you want to lead them to an email list. To collect an email, you need a capture page. When you’re on Instagram, there are no clickable links within your post. There is a clickable link within your bio. It will lead to a link, that will lead to a capture page. That way, you can build and collect the lead’s information.

When you’re building your email list, you’re creating a lead magnet for your audience.

It can be could be an audiobook or a free e-book in PDF. It’s whatever you want to give them, that will help them solve their problem.

YouTube

You’re going to be also doing the same thing by getting them to subscribe to your email list. In the description box of YouTube, you can type in a link that the viewer can click on. That link will take them to a capture page. The way to go with this is that you want to build your list and leverage platforms like Facebook, and Instagram.

Like the other platforms I’ve mentioned, you want to build your list organically. This way, you can serve your audience and have raving fans that will buy what you are offering.

The three steps to building an email list

These steps are important for building your brand online.

1) Building relationships

By doing so, you’re creating the like, know and trust factor. The subscribers will come from cold traffic. They don’t know who you are, they never heard of you. So it’s kind of like when you meet someone for the very first time. Over time, you will develop a warmer relationship with these people.

2) Engage

By engaging is when they look at your content and they respond to what you have shared. It could be through private messages or we can call these DMs, also comments on your content.

When you post content, your audience will have an opportunity to leave a comment for you. This way, they know that you are a real person and not someone that is out to get them or out to sell them.

Over the long term, when the audience has a problem, they will come to you. You can engage them on a more personal and private level. Also, dive deep into the conversation and see what problem they need to be solved.

3) Build trust through content and delivering value

Building trust through your content and value is how you’re going to build your brand online. You’ll also be able to stick out from the crowd. By doing this, you’re going to be a lot of sales. You’re going to have a ton of raving fans who are going to buy anything that you offer. This is why I put a lot of emphases when it comes to building a brand online.

So many people are doing this wrong. Spamming people, putting links all over the place, sliding into people’s DM is not the way to go. You have to take a holistic and organic approach when it comes to building your brand online. This is going to take time. Over time, more people are going to hear from you and you’re going to get a lot of referrals from the people that you serve.

Inside this video, I explain more in detail about how to build an engaging brand online. Building a brand online is not talked about enough in our industry and I share why in the video.
