As an online marketer, you understand marketing’s importance: Without marketing, your business would eventually fail due to the absence of new customers.
A strategically planned and meticulously designed sales funnel can bring in boatloads of money – even for average products.
But the best product in the world is dead in the water with no sales funnel.
If you haven’t already put time and effort into this mission, now is the time to start; and one easy way to start is the utilization of a sales funnel.
Below, I’m going to show you how to leverage sales funnels to create hundreds of thousands of revenue per month.
What exactly is a sales funnel and why you need one?
A sales funnel refers to the online buying process a business leads prospects through, leading to a purchase of your product or service. Anyone out there on the web who is not your client is a prospect.
There are four stages of a sales funnel.
Phase 1: Awareness
Prospects are introduced to you. You’ve identified a particular problem or frustration and you’re providing your solutions by way of content, products, and/or service. Once you’ve identified a particular problem or frustration, the process of awareness comes through visibility in places like Facebook (social media), ads, google searches. To get people to the awareness stage you must generate and drive traffic to this first stage of your funnel.
Phase 2: Interest
After you’ve created quality information in the awareness stage, you’ll find those who are even more interested and then they become prospects that are active and engaged. They return and voluntarily choose you to continue to learn from.
Phase 3: Decision
During this phase, active prospects are deciding whether or not to take advantage of your solution (your product or service).
The active prospect is paying close attention to the details of your solution (what you’re offering: programs, bonuses, refund policies, guarantees, etc…). Also during this phase, the sales offer is being presented to active prospects.
Phase 4: Action
This is the active prospects’ final stage and is either becoming a customer or client of yours (or not). This is when contracts are signed and terms and conditions are agreed upon. Money is exchanged and you have a new customer or client.
The mechanics of a great sales funnel
Create a great landing page
Your website’s landing page is the first impression potential customers will instantly have of your business. A good landing page will also encourage visitors to sign up for some sort of list, or subscribe to the website. This gives you that all-important contact information, which becomes your first line of communication.
Present a front-end offer
The next step is to present potential customers with the opportunity to buy a product or procure your service. When constructing your main front-end products and associated upsell offers, you should be building your funnel with the intention of solving your prospect’s problems.
Give an upsell offer on the back end
Offer your customers who just bought or are about to buy a product or service the opportunity to upsize, or upgrade that service. For example, create an offer that will deliver even more benefits to the customer they upgrade. This strategy is called an upsell.
Consider this the McDonald’s combo, and if you wish to Super Size your meal. You are offering your customers more substance if they choose to upgrade, which will give them more value. Of course, that also means you make more money because an upsell typically involves a larger or more expensive item or service.
Offer a downsize option
In the same way that you encouraged customers to upgrade services in the upsell step, this element of the funnel calls for you to offer a downgrade option to certain customers.
A downsize option doesn’t represent a failure and should not be looked upon as the loss of a sale. Instead, consider this a way to keep a customer unable to buy from you due to budget constraints. Keep in mind that those constraints may change. Be considerate and offer cheaper options for these individuals to keep them as potential customers.
The steps listed here are geared to a business with an online presence. Of course, this might not describe your particular business. However, every business can benefit from the sales funnel model.
Your potential customer’s category, which represents the greatest amount of people, goes on top of the funnel; and the smallest category, established customers, goes on the bottom. The categories in between may be altered to meet your specific business’s needs and sales goals.

Whether we want to admit it or not, the Coronavirus will be a mirror of who we are.
Every crisis exposes who you really are, and this is no exception.
If you have no character, it will show.
You’re either going to panic or minimize how serious it is.
You’re going to bulk buy toilet paper.
You’re going to spread pseudoscientific news.
You’re not going to contribute.
You’re going to be so negative.
Criticize your government.
But if you DO have character, you’re going to step up as a leader.
You’re going to do what’s best for you and society.
You’re going to make tough decisions.
You’re going to take responsibility.
You’re going to stay calm and control what you can control.
You’re going to adapt, be creative and find solutions.
You’re going to contribute and make an impact.
With all of the craziness happening all over the world, it can be easy to get sucked into all of this fear that is going around.
One thing that I’ve learned during this pandemic is not to panic and to not worry about what’s happening outside of me. I can only control my thoughts and emotions. This is a time of patience, deep thinking and figuring things out.
I knew after the 2008 recession that I had to pivot. I lost all of my money and I knew I had to find something that is sustainable and doesn’t require me to hold any kind of inventory.
This is when I started an affiliate marketing business
Affiliate marketing gives you the opportunity to earn a commission by selling products or services offered by other companies. It’s a great way to supplement your income from the convenience of your own home. Fortunately, it’s also easy to become an affiliate for companies that are household names.
This is what I love about affiliate marketing:
I could find a product that I wanted to promote
It allowed me to do a search for “product name” affiliate program.
Most affiliate marketing programs are free
Once I applied and was approved I would then get a special link that allows the merchant to track the people who clicked on my link
If the visitors buy the product, I would get a commission.
In the beginning, I was testing to see what works and what didn’t. Once I found what was working, I would double down and do more of what’s working. This is a sure way to succeed in an online affiliate marketing business.
This is what I did to get started with a shoestring budget:
Created a blog
Picked an industry that I wanted to target and then niche down
Researched products in my niche that I could review
Signed up for the Amazon affiliate program
Find other affiliate programs in the same space that I could review
Created content in the form of “How to” tutorials review blogs and resources
Building my list daily so that I can build a rapport with my audience
Optimized my blog and tracked my rankings in Google
Rinse and repeat
Don’t be fooled though. The gurus will tell you that creating an affiliate marketing business is easy and requires little to no capital to start. Anyone that says that affiliate marketing is easy is trying to sell you something.
It’s easy to set up your site with your affiliate links. But how do you even get people to see your content? Your first option should be free traffic and then paid traffic.
Free Traffic
Free traffic can be achieved through things like social media or SEO. Free traffic is just another term for free visitors to your site. If you post your website on Instagram for your friends to see, when your friends visit your site, your site receives traffic. This traffic costs you nothing and is free.
Is the pandemic getting in the way of your dreams? Click here…
Paid Traffic
This by far is the best method, but of course, it requires money. The beauty of paid traffic is that you can reach a lot of people fast. The bigger the budget, the more people you can get to view your content. Mastering the skill of paid traffic can result in huge returns. Some individuals make up to $ 10k/day by using paid traffic.
With a little bit of creativity, this business model can be molded into any business. It can be used as a personal moneymaker, as a legitimate company, or even as a supplement for a company already adopting a different business model. As we enter a new era of virtual reality, crypto-currencies, and whatever crazy new tech that comes out think about how you can implement the affiliate marketing model into future businesses. Wake up; we are in a gold rush.
I Want To Weaponize You & Your Team Against The #1 Reason People Quit Network Marketing
Wouldn’t it be nice to know not just the #1 reason quit network marketing, but what you can do TODAY to ensure that doesn’t happen to your organization?
I’ve got the answer for you.
But first, the back story…
When I owned my own network marketing company, I hired the #1 retention firm in the profession run by a guy named Terrel Transtrum.
If you’re an owner or executive of a direct sales company, hire him immediately. Seriously, you and your distributors are losing money because you haven’t already. He’s amazing.
From his survey’s of thousands of distributors who quit, when asked why they quit, the #1 answer was…
The #1 Reason People Quit Network Marketing: Missed Expectations
Simply put, they expected it to be easier (or better) than it was.
There’s a big lesson there which I’m sure you’ve already realized…
Don’t fill your prospects with false expectations
Please, don’t over-inflate your products or services
Don’t over-inflate your opportunity
Eliminate the word EASY from your vocabulary (seriously)
When you over-sell and over-promise you end up with massive fallout
Yes, I KNOW it’s easier to recruit when you make it sound easier.
The challenge is that you recruit the wrong people. When you hype it up, you attract people who want something for nothing and you TURN OFF the real leaders who see through your bullshit.
And please don’t get me wrong.
I’m not saying not to promote your company as amazing.
And I’m not saying not to highlight the incredible income and lifestyle potential.
But let people know that if they want to win in a massive way, they have to be prepared to work in a massive way.
It’s going to be an uphill battle
It will be hard
you’re going to get rejected over and over
People are going to quit on you
You’ll tell yourself all kinds of lies to justify quitting
There will be a thousand more challenges
Prepare yourself for the challenge and EXPECT them because there’s no way of getting around them.
I speak from 24-years experience having almost every business challenge known to man thrown at me.
It’s been hard.
I’ve wanted to quit a thousand times.
There have been times when I seriously couldn’t see a light at the end of the tunnel.
But I understood that with great reward comes great sacrifice.
Hear this:
I can tell you with certainty…
Zero doubt…
The prize has been worth the price…
…and it will be for you too.
It actually scares me to think of what my life would be like right now had I given up and quit when things got difficult. I thank God for my level of determination.
So keep going, my friend.
It will be worth it.

From an outsider looking in, it may seem daunting and impossible to start your own business.
It’s not.
Plenty of people with lesser skill sets, resources and time, from all walks of life and of all ages have gone to live the life they’ve always dreamed of by simply putting one foot in front of the other. Like anything, entrepreneurship can be a taught and learned skill.
Remember the time when you learned how to ride a bike?
In the beginning, it wasn’t easy right? Unless you had an adult helping you while you pedal. The most challenging part about riding a bike is balancing and braking. Building a business is no different.
In the online marketing world, there is no such thing as an overnight success.
It takes time, patience, persistence – and, yes – it takes hard work.
Although I do not believe you can build a successful, profitable, or sustainable online business overnight – I do believe you can build your dream business in as little as 12 months or less.
In this video, I share the essential ingredients of building your dream online business and the qualities that all students have in common.
I explain how getting clear on your vision and a business idea can impact the success of building your dream business and the importance of planning, marketing, and launching your ideas into the market.
I also share how your mindset impacts your ability to achieve your goals and dreams as well as strategies to help you stay focused on your goals and avoid shiny-object syndrome.
Everyone who has an online business needs to create a sales funnel in order to convert his website visitors into paying customers.
If you fail to do that, you will hardly make any money.
What is a Sales Funnel?
A sales funnel is a marketing concept that maps out the journey a customer goes through when making any kind of purchase. The model uses a funnel as an analogy because a large number of potential customers may begin at the top-end of the sales process, but only a fraction of these people actually end up making a purchase.
The sales funnel is one of the most fundamental concepts in sales and marketing. The top of the funnel signifies the goal of every business — to generate as many leads as possible — while the narrow bottom reflects how many of those leads are converted to customers by the end of the sales process.
Stages of a sales funnel can vary, but a traditional model follows these phases:
Awareness
Interest
Desire
Action
Successful businesses don’t just make sales here and there. They make sales consistently and with high enough volume that they can comfortably hire full-time employees. They know that despite having regular expenses, they are going to be profitable.
So how do they do it?
In this video, I will be showing you what sales funnels are, the stages of a sales funnel and examples of how I use sales funnels to achieve consistent growth and predictable revenue.
Facebook continues to be the reigning champ of social media sites, as the #1 spot where friends connect and share online. More than just a meeting place for friends, Facebook has grown into a venue for businesses to market themselves through interaction with customers and self-promotion.
Everyone is using Facebook these days. There are over 2.2 billion active daily users.
The ‘population’ of Facebook is massive!
No wonder businesses all want to use it to promote their products and services.
The problem is, 62% of small businesses feel like their paid Facebook Ads are failing.
No one wants to be throwing money at ads that don’t work! What good is such a massive pool of potential customers if you can’t successfully reach them?
Thankfully, there are ways to fix this problem. You don’t have to be part of that 62%!
In this video, I’m going to show you how to create a system within Facebook to grow your online business.
First off, I’d like to make one thing clear: Affiliate Marketing is not easy money, no matter how easy the guru’s make it sound.
You won’t succeed at it overnight. It’s a money-making strategy for the patient and determined. And if you really want to get it right, you’ll need to learn a little math.
Affiliate marketing is a thriving industry and will continue to grow bigger for years to come. Choosing the right affiliate business model, understanding the importance of your audience, and plain old hard work is what going to ensure your success as an affiliate.
So what is the magic formula you ask?
In a nutshell, it’s where you (the affiliate marketer) promote a product or service that can be tracked via links, that’s unique to you. You then earn a portion of the revenue when a sale happens through your unique link.
The idea behind it is that you promote other people’s products, often through an affiliate network, earning a commission if people actually end up buying thanks to your marketing.
It’s based on revenue sharing. If you have a product and want to sell more, you can offer promoters a financial incentive through an affiliate program. If you have no product and want to make money, then you can promote a product that you feel has value and earn an income from it as an affiliate marketer.
In this video, I will show you the exact model that most of the big marketers are doing to crush it online. If you follow the steps that I’ve laid out, and you too will crush it in the affiliate marketing space. It’s a lot simpler than you think.
Do you wish you could make money online while writing blogs from the beaches of Thailand?
In the ever-evolving landscape of online business, affiliate marketing has emerged as a promising opportunity for individuals and organizations to generate passive income. By promoting products and earning commissions for each successful referral, affiliate marketers can tap into a vast online market and achieve financial success. However, navigating the realm of affiliate marketing can be challenging, especially for beginners. In this article, we will delve into the five critical mistakes to avoid when starting your affiliate marketing journey, equipping you with the knowledge to excel in this competitive industry.
1. Neglecting Proper Niche Research
Choosing the right niche is fundamental to the success of your affiliate marketing endeavors. One common mistake beginners make is neglecting thorough niche research. By understanding the interests, needs, and preferences of your target audience, you can identify profitable niches and tailor your marketing efforts accordingly. Take the time to analyze keyword trends, conduct market research, and utilize keyword research tools to uncover lucrative niches with high search volume and low competition.
2. Overlooking the Importance of Content Quality
Content is king in the world of affiliate marketing. Producing high-quality, engaging, and valuable content is essential for attracting and retaining your audience. Avoid the mistake of prioritizing quantity over quality. Focus on crafting compelling blog posts, articles, videos, or podcasts that provide genuine value to your readers. Invest time in thorough research, employ a conversational tone, and incorporate storytelling techniques to captivate your audience and establish yourself as an authoritative figure in your niche.
3. Failure to Build and Nurture an Engaged Audience
Building a loyal and engaged audience is a cornerstone of successful affiliate marketing. Many beginners underestimate the importance of nurturing a community around their brand. Interact with your audience through social media platforms, respond to comments and messages promptly, and foster a sense of trust and connection. Engage your audience through email newsletters, exclusive offers, and personalized content to create a lasting relationship. By fostering an engaged community, you enhance the likelihood of conversions and long-term success.
4. Disregarding the Power of SEO Optimization
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a vital aspect of affiliate marketing. By optimizing your website and content for search engines, you can increase your visibility and attract organic traffic. Incorporate relevant keywords naturally throughout your content, optimize meta tags and descriptions, and focus on building high-quality backlinks from reputable sources. Additionally, consider employing local SEO strategies if your affiliate marketing efforts target specific geographical regions. Remember, a well-optimized website is more likely to rank higher in search engine results, ultimately driving more traffic and potential conversions.
5. Ignoring Data Analysis and Tracking
To excel in affiliate marketing, it is crucial to analyze and track the performance of your campaigns continually. Neglecting this aspect can hinder your ability to make data-driven decisions and optimize your strategies. Utilize analytical tools like Google Analytics to monitor website traffic, conversion rates, and user behavior. Leverage affiliate marketing tracking software to track clicks, sales, and commission earnings accurately. By analyzing this data, you can identify trends, uncover areas for improvement, and refine your marketing tactics for better results.
Conclusion
Embarking on an affiliate marketing journey can be both exciting and challenging. By avoiding these five common mistakes, you can position yourself for success and outperform competitors in the online realm. Remember, comprehensive niche research, high-quality content creation, community engagement, SEO optimization, and data analysis are essential components of a winning affiliate marketing strategy. By implementing these best practices, you can build a profitable affiliate marketing business and achieve your financial goals.
If you’re in any type of selling and want to increase your closing ratio, you’ll want to know this.
*Side Note:
In case you’ve listened to a network marketing trainer or leader tell you something like, “We don’t sell, we share!” (Said in the most airy-fairy accent I can muster up)
Let me just let you in on something that any REAL leader will admit:
We freaking SELL!
It may not be typical selling.
In fact, I agree that in our profession it’s more sorting than selling.
But make no mistake:
If your goal is to get someone to buy something, it’s selling!
So we should all be professionals and get GOOD at selling.
Now the real message…
And this is a little golden nugget I learned from one of the best marketers on the planet, Ken McCarthy…
If you’re wanting to increase your closing ratio…
Pretend like whatever you’re selling has a price tag of $ 25,000.
Whether your product/service is $ 25 or $ 2,500, act as if it really costs $ 25,000.
Think about what you’re selling… if it really cost $ 25,000, what would you need to say (honestly and ethically) that would justify your prospect paying $ 25,000.
When you put yourself in this mindset, you will naturally start thinking of more benefits and more of the end result your product can provide for people.
Can you see how this would increase your closing ratio?
Trust me on this and do this:
Think of your product and ask yourself, “What would I have to say and do to justify selling it for $ 25,000?”
And then write down everything that comes to you.
Do this and you will be a much better salesperson!

Most newbies want to know how to start an affiliate marketing business.
The truth of it is that there are no real “internet secrets”. There is so much information on the internet that cover almost everything that you could possibly want to know about the topic.

Over the past 3 years, I’ve learned a lot about affiliate marketing and ( and I am still learning ) and I want to share what I’ve learned with you.
One of the reasons that I got into affiliate marketing is that I dreamed of making my fortune and traveling all over the world – taking a break here and there to pull out my laptop and do some work while sitting on the beach sipping on a cool cocktail.
