Network Marketing Books To Read To Dominate 2020
Today I’m serving up some honest sauce…
Let’s be real.
Most people fail miserably in network marketing.
They also fail miserably in real estate, internet marketing, traditional business, and virtually every other entrepreneurial endeavor.
1-5% at best make it to a full-time living.
So what’s going to be different about you?
“But Matt, I’m serious.”
“Matt, I’m committed.”
“But Matt, I’m dedicated.”
The same words uttered by the 95%+ who fail.
I said all those things myself during the 5 years I failed miserably as an entrepreneur.
And listen,
You DO need to be all of those things.
But allow me to let you in on a little secret…
Until you decide to become an expert in whatever category of entrepreneurship you’ve chosen, you will most certainly remain an amateur.
Here’s what I mean by becoming an expert…
It’s getting your knowledge level to the top 1% compared to everyone else in your industry.
Sound difficult?
It’s not. Here’s why:
If you’re willing to read 5 books or go through 5 courses specific to your industry, that’s more than what 99% of everyone else in your industry will ever do
- 99% of salespeople have never read 5 books on sales.
- More than 99% of internet marketers will never read 5 books on internet marketing
- 99% of wannabe real estate investors will never read 5 books on real estate
And guess what – 99% of network marketers will never read 5 books or go through 5 courses specific to network marketing.
Sure, they might read 5 books on personal development. But not network marketing specific books.
How do I know?
I’ve spoken to audiences in over 35 countries and I’ve asked this question to THOUSANDS of network marketers.
When I ask them to raise their hands if they have, it’s always the same.
Maybe 1 or 2 out of 100 will have read 5 network marketing books. And these are the committed ones actually attending training events! If it’s 1 or 2 out of 100 at events, what do you think the % is overall?
You got it. WAYYYYY less than 1%.
As you can see, it’s no surprise why most fail.
So lemme as you, Mr. or Ms. Committed…
Have you read 5 books specific to network marketing?
If not, guess what’s gonna continue to be true for you?
You’ll continue to be an amateur, plain and simple.
So, my friend, you can get offended by my tough love and stop reading this blog post…
Or, you can keep reading and I’ll give you 5 network marketing books I recommend you read right away if you’re serious about being a pro.
The major distinction here:
In Network Marketing, just like most other industries, there is more than one category you need to master..
Network Marketing is just 1 of 4 different categories you need to master if you want to achieve at the highest levels.
So here are my top…
Network Marketing Books to Read that lead to mastery
There are 4 categories to master if you want to achieve at the highest levels in network marketing.
The first category obviously is network marketing.
Today, I’m giving you a handful of my favorite network marketing books that I recommend adding to your library…
#1) 7 Secrets to 7 Figures by yours truly
www.7StrategiesBook.com
What kind of marketer would I be if I didn’t recommend my own book first?
I wrote this at 29 when I first become a self-made millionaire. It was originally done as an audio and is not yet being sold on Amazon. You can pick up the ebook version for only $ 7 right now. I’ve been the #1 earner in 3 companies in my 24 years and have grown teams totaling over 1.5 million customers so I know a thing or two.
#2) Go Pro by Eric Worre
https://amzn.to/36l2kc2
Eric has staked his claim as, by far, the most popular network marketing trainer. Unlike many of the wanna-be guru’s, he is the real deal and a good friend. Before retiring, he built organizations totaling over 500,000 customers and earned over $ 15 million.
#3) Raising a Giant by Bob Crisp
https://amzn.to/2MNSlEg
This is my favorite network marketing book. I’ve read it multiple times and it’s filled with highlights. Bob was one of the fastest growing leaders in Amway and this tells his story of building a team to over 200,000 people.
#4) Feeding a Giant by Bob Crisp
https://amzn.to/37sKcwU
This is the follow up to Raising a Giant and, again, Bob does an excellent job outlining many of the most important principles to success in our profession.
#5) Your First Year in Network Marketing by the late Mark Yarnell
https://amzn.to/2Qh5Mi3
This is one of the best selling books of all time in our profession and a genuine classic. Take some of the teachings here with a grain of salt. Mark was super old-school and gives scripts like “you’d have to be brain dead not to take me up on this” which I would never in a million years say or teach. But the principles are as solid as they get.
