In the online marketing world, there is no such thing as an overnight success.
It takes time, patience, persistence – and, yes – it takes hard work.
Although I do not believe you can build a successful, profitable, or sustainable online business overnight – I do believe you can build your dream business in as little as 12 months or less.

Everyone who has an online business needs to create a sales funnel in order to convert his website visitors into paying customers.
If you fail to do that, you will hardly make any money.
What is a Sales Funnel?
A sales funnel is a marketing concept that maps out the journey a customer goes through when making any kind of purchase. The model uses a funnel as an analogy because a large number of potential customers may begin at the top-end of the sales process, but only a fraction of these people actually end up making a purchase.
The sales funnel is one of the most fundamental concepts in sales and marketing. The top of the funnel signifies the goal of every business — to generate as many leads as possible — while the narrow bottom reflects how many of those leads are converted to customers by the end of the sales process.
Stages of a sales funnel can vary, but a traditional model follows these phases:
Awareness
Interest
Desire
Action
Successful businesses don’t just make sales here and there. They make sales consistently and with high enough volume that they can comfortably hire full-time employees. They know that despite having regular expenses, they are going to be profitable.
So how do they do it?
In this video, I will be showing you what sales funnels are, the stages of a sales funnel and examples of how I use sales funnels to achieve consistent growth and predictable revenue.
Facebook continues to be the reigning champ of social media sites, as the #1 spot where friends connect and share online. More than just a meeting place for friends, Facebook has grown into a venue for businesses to market themselves through interaction with customers and self-promotion.
Everyone is using Facebook these days. There are over 2.2 billion active daily users.

Starting a business on the internet can be relatively simple and affordable, but some expenses are necessary.
To start an online business, you’ll typically start out with a whole lot of ideas and not a clue what to do with them.
Starting an online business can mean significantly lower start-up costs compared to a brick and mortar store. But don’t be fooled, it is not free and a plan and budget are essential for success.
You might have the best idea in the world for your website but don’t have a solid plan on the “how” quite yet.
There are many costs associated with starting up an online business, and also considering your options for working from home. Depending on the type of business you want to start and how and where you would like to set all of this up, your startup costs can heavily vary.
There are tools that I use on a daily basis. All of my tools have been well researched and tested. If I don’t recommend a tool, then it’s not on my list. You can check it out here.
Take some time to put a plan together. Here are some planning points to consider. Remember that the business plan does not have to be complex and it is a continual process. That means that the plan will change and improve with age and experience.
Make sure you know your market – who is going to buy your product? Who is your customer avatar?
Multi-channels to market (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Blog) – proven to improve results up to 400%
Integrate the client experience – Are you giving your visitor what they need? Are you solving their problems?
How you will deal with
Content – where will you get content and images
Pricing & inventory – what are the competitive issue
Logistics – getting the product to your client
Service & support – how to service your customers
Payment & refund/returns – handling of payments and what methods to accept
Security & Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Compliance
Easy-to-use purchase process
Marketing campaigns and requirements (including search engine marketing or paid ads)
Prepare a social media plan
With all of this in mind, let’s take a deep dive into what you will need to dish up some money for, and how much you can expect to pay for these necessities.

You can also live anywhere you want, set your own schedule, and work as little or as much as you want, depending on how fast or big you want your business to grow.
No business or marketing experience is needed either. It’s a truly democratic medium for entrepreneurship.
Starting an online business is just like preparing a dish. If you follow a proven recipe, the dish will be delicious. It does not matter who is doing the cooking.
With an online business, all you have to do is follow the five steps outlined above. This system works until proven otherwise and it will not fail you.

If you’re building or starting a business, then Fiverr is an excellent resource to get some of the time-consuming, and technical work done.
What is Fiverr?
Fiverr is a global online marketplace that offers tasks and services beginning at a cost of $ 5 for a job performed.
Fiverr’s platform revolves primarily around “gigs,” meaning that the services sold are typically a one-time job; however, the website also offers the opportunity to create “milestone” deliveries, meaning that you could retain a Fiverr seller for multiple projects or steps of a larger project.
You can use Fiverr gigs to get all of the services done for your company. What kind of business you set up is up to you. Do what you are most passionate about.
If you’re wondering what you could do, just go to Fiverr and check out what people are selling. It’s crazy how many different kinds of gigs there are!
Scroll through all of the different categories and start brainstorming what you could offer.
Then think about what you already know, the people you already know, and your own experience.
Based on all of that information, there will for sure be a business idea that you could run with.

Producing content is going to be your way of generating leads and making sales.
Remember, that you’re not here to sell. The money you earn is in direct proportion of how many people you can help. This is how your influence and relationships will grow. When you grow these two factors, your business will flourish.
You can produce your content on Facebook or YouTube.
At the end of your content, you will want to add a ‘call to action’. This is also known as CTA. You’re getting the avatar to take action on a recommendation (more on this in the video below).
You want to do this every single day and this is how you build your business from scratch.
This is secret of the high-income earners. This is how they make their money.

Someone asked, “Hey Matt, what’s your favorite way to present your network marketing business? A live presentation or a video presentation?” I’m going to give you my favorite!
My favorite way to present my network marketing business
If I’m presenting to a big group, I usually go through a full PowerPoint presentation making sure it’s very detailed.
I want to be able to interact with the audience, tell some jokes and create a good rapport, however, if I’m in a one-on-one meeting or with a handful of people in an in-home presentation, I prefer video.
Why?
The DUPLICATION factor.
When you present your network marketing business…
You want to answer the number one question people have in their minds.
If you don’t answer this question they WILL NOT join.
“Can I do it? Can I Be successful?”
See, you can have the best product in the world but none of that really matters if they don’t believe they can actually be successful in promoting your network marketing business.
On the flip side…
If they really believe that you can make a lot of money or that they can be successful through following your system then they will almost always lock arms with you.
Now, I’m going to give you my 3-step closing formula when presenting your network marketing business through video.
Ready?
The 3-step formula to close someone when presenting your network marketing business
For the sake of the lesson, let’s say I’m talking to John.
Me: “John, I want you to pay attention to how little I have to do to explain this to you.”
Then I OVEREMPHASIZE pressing play on the video (signifying how easy it is to “explain the business to him”).
Once the video is complete I’ll say something like:
Me: “Awesome, right? What did you like best?” *Wait for their response…
“Awesome! You know what? I couldn’t agree more. Now, I do have to ask you a question to see if you qualify to be successful with this.”
Now, this is counterintuitive.
What most people expect is for you to start selling them right away on your business but when you ask a question like that…
All of a sudden you’ve got posture, seem to not have much emotional attachment if they join or not and you’re qualifying your prospect.
Then you’re going to say something like:
Me:“Do you think you have the ability to push play on a video like I just did with you?”
What do you think they say every single time?
Yes!
So, step 3: Congratulate them!
Me: “Congratulations! You qualify. Welcome to the team!”
Put your hand out (signifying the deal has been made)…
…and get them plugged in and let them know that you’re going to show them exactly how to make all their money back in the next few days.
Boom!

Everybody’s end goal is to continue to grow their network marketing business. Today I want to cover three simple steps that you can take to grow the right way and find success in the future. How committed are you? Read the three steps and ask yourself if you’re willing to take those steps.
STEP #1 – BE PROUD OF THE EFFORT YOU HAVE PUT IN
Misrepresenting the facts is really hurting Network Marketing.
When a person is so focused on signing up a new recruit that they are willing to minimize the effort, skill, and time it takes to build a successful Network Marketing business, they are hurting the profession as a whole. Further, you are creating an illusion that is not real, and will more often than not result in fast distributor drop out when they realize it requires actual work.
The old adage goes, “honesty is the best policy”, right? Tell your prospects how much effort is needed. Make them aware of the steps you took. Share the skill you had to learn and point them in the direction for future education. Do NOT tell them that it “practically grows itself,” and “it is so easy anyone can become a millionaire in three weeks.” Misrepresenting the facts will only lead to failure in the future.
Our stories are what relate to other people. When you tell your story to a prospect, they will think one of two things. “There is no way I could go through all that,” or “I am up for the challenge, let’s do this!”
Being honest with your prospect from the beginning will automatically weed out the people who do not have what it takes. It will save you time, money and effort down the road.
STEP #2 – INVEST IN YOUR FUTURE
There is almost no career on this planet that does not require training. As Network Marketers we have to learn a ton of skills. You have to wear so many different hats that at times it helps just to list them out.
Marketing Guru
Communication Expert
Product Expert
Motivational Coach
Time Management Wizard
Recruiting Agent
Team Leader
The list goes on and on but the need to learn something new every single day does not change. I encourage you to take time each day and advance your skills in each of these areas. Then when you recruit someone new make sure you convey your routine.It will not only prepare that recruit for what lies ahead, but it will make you the authority on how to succeed in Network Marketing.

We all fall into these “slumps” in life…
…but what’s important is figuring out a way to get out of them!
The first step to get out of ‘rut’ in life
Take responsibility.
Understand that we are responsible for the feelings we endure.
We must discipline our mind in creating motivation & desire.
Take control over your thoughts, and you’ll take control of your feelings & actions.

We must take control of our character, of our mind, and of our belief system.
Your beliefs lead to your thoughts which leads to your feelings which leads to the amount of action that you take which leads to your success.
If you’re in a slump in life or business
Program yourself every day…
Command yourself to be the better man/woman and better leader you ultimately want to be.
Start brainwashing yourself to become the kind of person that you need to become to have the results that you need to have.
Get back to your personal development AT LEAST 15 minutes/day.
Focus on building your character so that you can create what you want and stay out of the slump.
