How To Dominate The New Year

How To Dominate The New Year

Dominate the new year

Before we talk about how to dominate the new year (or decade) let me ask you a question…

As you reflect on 2019…

Was 2019 much different than 2018?

How about 2017?

Were your relationships about the same?

Your finances?

Business?

Spiritual connection?

What about your health?

If the answer is “Yes. My 2018 was very similar in most categories to my 2019” then my friends…

We’ve got some work to do.

Dominate the new year with 20/20 vision for 2020

What do I mean by 20/20 vision?

Do you have a clear vision for your life this year?

A clear vision for your finances, business, health, relationships, parenting etc…?

Have you gone through your own goal setting workshop?

If not…

How do you expect this year to be any different from last?

Without a clear vision…

How do you know where you’re going?

Without knowing where you’re going…

You will end up drifting…

Floating through life with little purpose and without a destination.

Click HERE for 10 tips on goal setting that actually work.

Or…

This year commit to adopting a morning routine. Click HERE to check out my morning routine and why it’s so important to me.

My goals are set across 13 pages…

Personally, I set goals in every area of my life.

I have health and fitness goals…

Bucket list goals…

Relationship goals…

Parenting goals…

Business goals…

Impact goals…

The list goes on.

Why?

Because when you don’t have goals…

Your life remains the same.

I say F*ck that!

We expect our lives to get better but often times don’t really plan for it.

We don’t create a vision for where we’re going to be at the end of the year…

So, I’ve written mine out.

I’ve written out exactly where I’ll be at the end of the year after I’ve dominated the new year.

I’ve written where I’ll be 3 years out…

5 years out…

and 10 years out…

…but guess what?

You don’t dominate the new year by just having yearly goals…

You’ve got to have monthly/weekly goals too.

Every Sunday night I redo my weekly goals and print them out.

I have a weekly planner I put my weekly goals into so that I can review them every single day.

“Am I on the right path? Did I do today what I know I should do in order to make progress on these goals?”

What you focus on expands.

The reason why people don’t accomplish their goals is often that they set goals and then set them aside…

Chances are that you set some goals last year…

Got excited about them for a few days or a few weeks…

…but then forgot about them.

Personally, I set myself a reminder at the beginning of every week and every month reminding me to review and revise my goals.

Now…

Go set a vision for 2020…

Set yourself some yearly, monthly, and weekly goals…

Adopt a morning routine and figure out what you must do daily in order to achieve your weekly goals…

…and go make it happen!
